How Asphalt Paving Bossier City Works
Asphalt Paving Bossier City builds and maintains asphalt driveways, parking lots and private drives in Bossier City, Shreveport and the surrounding towns of Bossier, Caddo, Webster and DeSoto parishes. The work covers new driveways, commercial lots, resurfacing, sealcoating, pothole and patch repair, and parking lot striping.
Pavement here fails for local reasons. Much of the low ground along the Red River is heavy clay that drains slowly, the area gets more than 50 inches of rain in a typical year, and summer afternoons in the 90s soften asphalt that was laid too thin. So every estimate starts with the ground: where the water goes, how soft the subgrade is, and whether the existing base can be reused.
At the site visit we measure, photograph problem spots, check the slope toward the street or ditch, and note where the drive meets the road. If that road is a state or U.S. highway, the connection falls under a Louisiana DOTD access permit, and we tell you that up front. On city and parish streets we confirm the local requirements before scheduling.
What you get in writing
- The square footage and the scope for each area
- Base work: what is removed, what is added and how deep
- Compacted asphalt thickness
- Edges, transitions and drainage details
- A price for each part of the job
Work starts after you approve the quote. If something changes once the old surface is up, such as a soft spot that needs digging out, we show you and put the change in writing before doing it.
